we'll miss you Fraggle

I was sad to hear that my brother's cat Fraggle had to be 'put down' due to complete kidney failure, he was an old cat, but still behaved like a kitten, and it seems so strange that she is gone. Her sister Muppet is wandering around lost...

So I had to send something, a small note to say that I was thinking of them all. The die is Paper Smooches, and sentiment Clearly Besotted.

playing with old toys

I'm in a rut, I've got no inclination for colouring even though it's the daily marker 30 day challenge, and so I have dug out a very old toy, my silhouette, to make this card, oh and scraps too, I like cards that use up scraps

out of this world pop up

Jane's birthday always calls for a space card and this year's card is extra special and is my very first pop up box card - I've even got floating objects using little bits of acetate...

shake and vac

I have no idea how long I've been making shakers but if I was told it was 10 years ago I made my first I wouldn't be surprised!

I know that it is 11 months until Christmas, but I have a plan to make a few cards a month and no panic as the postage deadline approaches (I have this plan every year and it never works).

I. have to say the window on this card was super easy as it is a window with the merry in it from Clearly Besotted. I just cut the 'merry' again in silver glitter to highlight it. If you notice I've even got a soft cloudy sky in the background.

The confetti is some from Pretty Pink Posh and the pound store... so I don't waste the good stuff...

my little pony

If you are my age and you had 'My Little Pony's when you were a kid you would have found it hard to turn down these cuties from The Greeting Farm. I coloured him with comics to match the (really old) paper from Doodlebug Design, the shaker is full of Pretty Pink Sequins.

oh so pretty altenew flowers

I've had such fun doing this layered stamping - and I spent an absolute age sorting the best colours for use on the layered stamps - but oh they are oh so pretty.

35

One thing I love about this hobby is that you can make cards for people and occasions that you can't easily get otherwise.

This card is for my in-laws 35th wedding anniversary - and I used quickutz dies - remember quickutz!!!

The rest is simply a repeated pattern of congratulations stamp from Clearly Besotted. Lawn fawn star and heart and lots of Pretty Pink Posh sequins and life is good :)

hey beautiful

So a couple of weeks a go I got some second hand supplies from Michelle Short (the card grotto), but although this peacock was a stamp and die set, I really only wanted the die (to follow) but this cave me a chance to try out my ideas quickly and easily.

I wish the peacock body wasn't a solid image stamp - I've tried to shade him with some copics.

bonjour beautiful

So a couple of weeks ago I got some second hand goodies from Michelle of The Craft Grotto, I bought this clearly besotted stamps and die set solely for making this... there is also a card, which I shall share in a few days but the card was only made to test how the sequins were going to look.

This fits the 'Anything Goes' at Simon Says Stamp!
