Carriage

Baby theme set

The baby carriage was cut from Doodlebug tickled pink bazzill cardstock as was the ‘it’s a girl’ message. Highlights on the pram were cut from silver card.

The baby carriage was assembled on a 4 cm white bazzill square which was matted onto a 4.5 cm silver square and a 5 cm tickled pink square.

This was adhered to a white A6 card using 3d foam and the message placed below in 3 lines.

The lower half of an A6 card was covered in the baby boy text paper from the 2007 DCWV spring stack.

The edge was covered in a length of green doodlebug zig-zag paper ribbon from the pastel box.

A baby pram was cut from Doodlebug bubble blue bazzill card with silver highlights. This was adhered to the centre of a 4 cm white bazzill square, which was matted onto 4.5 cm square honeydew Doodlebug bazzill and 5 cm square bubble blue. This was placed to the right of the card using 3d foam.

The words ‘baby boy’ were cut from honeydew bazzill and adhered to the left of the pram motive.

A 5 cm strip of multi striped card was attached to the lower half of a 12 cm white square card. To the lower part of this panel a 2 cm blue strip was adhered.

The word ‘hello’ was cut from orange card using the Quickutz Frankie skinni mini alphabet. It was arranged to the right of the blue strip.

Finally a length of beige ribbon with orange spots (from American Crafts) had a know tied 1/3 rd of the way along its length. It was attached vertically, 1.5 cm from the left hand edge.

Chick

The chick was cut from yellow card with orange beak and feet. Black eyes were added. The chick was constructed on a 4 x 5 cm white bazzill rectangle. This was layered onto purple and pink card each 0.5 cm than the prior.

A band of broad purple ribbon was adhered to a Papermania pink and purple striped ‘designer card’. The chick was placed on 3d foam over the ribbon band on the left hand side.

‘Easter’ was cut from purple card and applied to the lower right of the finished card.
