bad light, naughty light

sorry about the bad photo, but there was just a few minutes for me to get my completed card entered to Birka's birthday blog hop... it required pink!!!

MFT zig zag die and SSS sentiment is the key to a fun card.

and now for something completely different...

this is really not my usual style, but it was fun messing with distress inks and the centre of the flower glazed in nuvo jewel drops

green skinned monster

I coloured this cutie from Jessa Feig - Useless Trinkets - a while ago, but today he made it into a card.

I used a scrap of Sassafass paper, a Lawn Fawn stamp and Simon Says Stamp sentiment (now that is a lot of alliteration)

off centre

I love the colours on this card, but it just isn't quite off centre enough

now you know your abcs

Men are such a pain in the bottom... why is it so difficult to make cards for them...

This was an attempt using a scrap of Sassafrass paper (do you remember Sassafras) an a few stars... even men like sequins right...

I couldn't resist making another flamingo card (especially as I'd already coloured the flamingos), and so i combined with a lot of scraps from my desk to make this. It also fits the 'Anything Goes' Wednesday challenge on Simon Says Stamp (well anything would!)

case this sketch #170

When I saw this sketch (no #170 from Case This Sketch), I knew instantly what I wanted to do with it... and whilst it is a bit 'tilt your head to the left and squint' it was how I interpreted it. I do love the grey and yellow colour combo, I'm a bit sad it's out of fashion :(

more flowers simon

After having dug out this old Hero Arts Blossom Art stamp set I'm really liking using it with just coloured pencils. Consequently here is a second card for the Simon Say's Stamp work it Wednesday challenge. My use of the blue tones for the flower also fits this months 'A Blog Named Hero' tone on tone challenge.
