Just one card today,and its randomly posed with some supplies that I didn’t use when making it, but looked good together, it’s an interesting thing when you just allow yourself to use the same supplies until they’re all gone, having to become inventive so all the cards don’t look the same, and to make the most of supplies means that I have been a little out of my comfort zone. Anyhue…

And so I continue using up that LilyKate paper pad from Basic Grey. It is only when you try and completely use up a pad like this that you realise just how many papers you get for the money, or looking at it another way, just how unrealistic the idea that I will ever use up all of my scrapbooking stash is… The same could be said of my mothers embroidery thread pile where I got the thread to crochet those butterflies…

I was really pleased with this card, my valentine’s card for the year. We’re not really a vommy couple so the cards are usually quite playful.
