I just had to have the Atomic Soup collection from Jillibean Soup because my partner and I met doing our PhDs in chemistry and now I'm a lecturer in Chemistry at one university and him a fellow in physics at another. 

I have a couple of 'science-y' quotes, the RSCs old university logo 'experiment with a chemist' and a line from the Cole Porter song Experiment 'do what all good scientists do - experiment' 

I had to recut the elements paper so it looked like a periodic table - so glad 18 elements wide was the width of the paper for this.

I enjoyed making the previous 2 page layout so much I did another. 

The quote is from Good Will Hunting and is a favourite of mine. I also love my 'mock' polaroids now I can no longer get film to do the real thing.

Made for the American Crafts 2 page layout challenge on the blog. I've only ever made one 2 page layout before and quite liked it. 

The photo is me on the beach at Tentsmuir, you can just see I'm holding my partners hand. The journalling talks about closing my eyes and picturing myself there.
