there isn't anything

Use it challenge No.4 was to use scraps of something (here everything except the background paper (including the ribbon was a scrap)), 2 or more different types of ribbon, punches or die cuts (Sizzlits take it easy font) and an embellishment you once loved, but have kind of forgotten about (my button).
I buy buttons and rarely use them, and I'm really guilty of moving onto my latest stash buy without using what I've already opened so this was a second wind for my Basic Grey Offbeat, I'd used all of the sheets I really liked, but think this works ok for a sheet of paper I was initially terrified of.
In my usual fashion I used glossy accents, but then stuck my finger in it before it had change to dry :(

hello silhouettes

I got the pocket silhouettes from the Stampin’ Up catalogue and stamped them with Mellow Moss ink. Using the 2 mm Anita’s gem stones and adhering them with glossy accents the pattern was completed. The card was finished with Mellow Moss card and ribbon and a cuttlebug strip embossing folder.

spring thing

Last week, a new challenge blog started, Use It!, well I was too slow last week, but this week I've given it a good go.
I've used Basic Grey Two Scoops, Prima flowers and a the Sizzlits die 'Birds and Branches', I think the stamp is Hero Arts, but I've had them so long I can't really remember.

from the garden

Just a quick stamp and colour card with the Stampin’ Up From the Garden Stamp. It was stamped 3 times and layered. Stickles were used on the centre of the flowers. The images were coloured with water colours.

sassy hello

The March monthly challenge on UKS is to make a card featuring 3 from the list:
buttons, bows, bling, birdies, blooms & bunnies
I used Sassafras papers to just quickly make this card, the papers were highlighted with glossy accents.

monochromatic quickutz flower

The challenge on the Quickutz Challenge blog was to be monochromatic, so here is my entry. The revolution flower and cookie cutter nesting flower, along with a butterfly I printed onto acetate, really simple.

scrummy spring

Angie set the classover on the Scrummy Stash Cafe blog this week. Although I loved the class I had no scrapping mojo, so I made a little card instead:)
In all the cold of winter this reminds me of spring and easter eggs :), I used a pebbles inc duplicates rub on and very old (but I still love the colours) American Crafts simply chic papers. I also used the Ellison flowers and stems extended cut die.

scrummy plain

Maria’s challenge over on the Scrummy Stash Cafe blog this week was to use no patterned papers.
I thought about stamping a background, I thought about a lot of doodling, and then I though that I would go simple and minimalist.
The title was cut from the off cut of my 12x12 white bazzill using the cuttlebug olivia alphabet, I cut three layers of letters to give it dimension. The leaves of the roses were cut from green core-dinations cardstock, and the roses from orange peel bazzill with the edges inked with white staz-on. There are five concentric circles cut with the smaller nestabilities dies.

seaton sluice all day crop - laugh out loud

This was the second class at the Seaton sluice all day crop and  Maria had already kindly cut the scalloped background on a cricut expression (I think I would like one of these :)), it was a quick simple class, but Asda’s photo machines weren’t working so I had to wait for a photo to put on it before I posted.

first

For the Seaton Sluice Christmas crop Maria put together some KI Memories papers, some pompom trim, ribbon, buttons and chipboard snowflakes in a baggie, with a mystery sketch... everyone’s sketch was different, and I’ll confess I swapped mine after my first one was like an explosion in a line factory.
So I added some some spinkles glitter thickers, and some bling and that was me done.

elements of me

This is another of the missed crop kits Maria was good enough to keep for me. Glitz papers, with doodlebug alpha stickers and brads, and a chip frame painted in some Games Workshop paint!
This was the perfect layout for a chemist, but I had a few problems adapting it down to 8 1/2 x 11 from the 12x12 I supposed to work in. So I game it some hidden journalling, and the photos of my life are hidden on the back of that.  I really can’t wait to use this paper again.
