best wishes

Quickutz dies used:

Katie classic alphabet
Katie skinni mini alphabet

The bottom 10 cm of a cream A6 card was covered in cream spotty paper. The top edge was bounded by purple paper sticky ribbon.

‘Best’ was cut from brown paper using the Katie skinni mini, ‘Wishes’ from the classic size alphabet.

The letters were attached to a cream piece of card 5.5 x 7.5 cm which was layered onto brown card 6 x 8 cm. Three small Prima flowers were adhered to the top right corner in an arc, and small clear gems added as centers.

This was attached to the card overlapping the boundary using 3d foam.

something vintage

Not really my style, but I bought the stuff so should really use it.

K&Co vintage letter paper (8.5 x 12.8 cm) was attached centrally to a cream A6 card and the edge trimmed with gold peel off.

A vintage epoxy sticker was mounted to cream card which was trimmed to just slightly larger than the sticker. Again it was edged in gold peel offs.

A gold ‘thinking of you’ message was adhered to the epoxy sticker, and it was attached to the upper left quadrant of the card using 3d foam.

make a wish

Dies used:
Candle
Birthday shortkutz

I think I stole this idea from the Quickutz website, but it has been reworked slightly.

Three candles were cut in pink card with yellow and orange flames. The wick was removed.

A 4 cm strip of striped paper was placed near the bottom of an A6 white card. The candles were mounted on 3d foam, splaying from the centre.

Make a wish was also cut in pink and attached so as to form an arc around the candles.

baby blocks

Using the Sizzlits baby block B A Y letters, baby was cut with letters alternately in pale yellow and pale pink. These were backed in darker matching shades.

A white tag was cut using a Quickutz die and a American Crafts Kate sidekick ‘it’s a girl’ rub-on attached.  This was tied to the Y letter using a length of pink organza ribbon.

The letters were mounted onto a white 12.5 cm card using 3d foam.
