flower

A simple card made using the papers from the Hot Off the Press Citrus Cardmakers Ultimate Creative Pack.
The pastel striped paper was placed on the front of a square square aperture card. The aperture was cut out of this paper and the edge finished with a silver line peel off sticker.
The inside of the card was covered in the matching pastel dotty paper. Inside the aperture a white Bazzill Basics flower was stuck with a button center.
The word flower was written in small peel off letters in the top right of the card.

butterfly

The stuff for this card came in a kit from my local Home Bargains (a great wee shop) for just £1, it is a simple idea to replicate.

A rectangle of lilac chiffon was placed at the centre of a square card onto this was placed a smaller rectangle of white glitter card. A lilac glitter butterfly was placed on this and a Best Wishes peel off placed underneath the butterfly to finish.

bling flowers

Another card for my gran and therefore another gem heavy card.

Large tear drops were set together on a square of white card to form the shape of a flower. A yellow circle gem was placed in the centre of the flower. This square of white was then matted onto a square of silver mirror card. This was repeated for times (in four different colours).

These squares were then arranged in a grid in the centre of a largish pink card. 4 gem dragonflies were placed around the edge of the card and little movement trails drawn in by hand.

you're a star

Using papers from the Country Little Sizzles pad by Sizzix, and the star die from the Sizzlits window and frame making set I whipped together this card.

I have varied the peel off used on this card to say Congratulations, Thank You and You’re a Star all using the same design of card.

The star was cut from the plain yellow paper in the sizzles pad and placed on a slightly larger square cut from the blue and yellow star paper. This was in turn matted on silver mirror card the plain blue paper from the sizzles set and more silver mirror card.

This was then placed on a white card (tall, A6, square, it doesn’t really matter) using 3D foam.

twinkle

I’m still using up a stack of Hot Off the Press cards my mum bought from QVC a while ago, some of which had apertures cut into them.

I covered one of the cards in a cute pink stripe paper from doodlebug and cut out the star aperture from this covering paper. The edge of the star was finished using peel off line stickers, twinkle written in peel off letters and little dots (usually discarded bits from peel off sticker sheets) placed randomly over the paper.

Inside the card a pearl matt was placed decorated in the bottom right hand corner with small pink star stickers.
