I've ben trying spattering of watercolours... subtle, and I'm not entirely sure that I like it, but I've made a cute card with these adorable Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens stamps & dies.

A little late to the Wednesday party, but I'm addicting this to the Simon Says Stamp 'Anything Goes' Wednesday challenge... (on a monday...)

great chemistry!

I've been looking though my Lawn Fawn stamps looking for sets that I really love but haven't used much and found Science of Love. Being a chemistry lecturer at a university I just fell in love with the glassware in this set, and wanted it to be the feature of my card.

I have Stampin' Up inks from years ago when they had 1" cubes and it was an economical and space savvy way to get a lot of colours, and I used some of the brighter ones here and coloured the flasks in using copics.

Stampin' Up ink Apricot Appeal, Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Pink Passion

The challenge this month at Seven Hills Crafts is to make a card with more than one fold... this worked really well for me because my mother has recently given me a copy of Tattered Lace magazine with a mini side stepper card included as the months die.

Now I'm not normally one for Tattered Lace as I find their dies fussy, but my mum knows me well and knows that I love mini cards, so I had a great time playing with this.

The images are all from Lawn Fawn (which I adore) and coloured using Copics.
