christmas dots

A sheet of the green spotty paper from the Provocraft Cricut doodlecharms pad was cut to 5 1/2” by 3 3/4”.

This was then stuck to the centre of an A6 size card. It was finished by sticking a length of ribbon down one side and tying a knot in it.

A large silver ‘Merry Christmas’ peel off sticker from ‘Anita’s’ was placed in the lower right hand corner.

christmas stocking

A stocking was cut from  green and pearlescent white card using the Sizzix Sizzlits Christmas doodle dies.

A card with a small oval aperture cut into one side was covered inside and out using papers from the Papermania Colossal Christmas Paper pack.

The aperture was cut out and the edge finished with iridescent glitter glue. The stocking die cut was placed inside the aperture on 3D foam.

A ribbon and handwritten message finished the card.

christmas ho ho ho

On a tall thin white card used in a landscape orientation, a 2” wide strip of Doodlebug ‘Candy Apple’ Bazill cardstock was attached  centrally along the length of the card.
A length of green grosgrain ribbon was threaded throught the holes on the ‘Ho Ho Ho’ sticker from the ‘Holly Jolly Christmas’ cardstock stickers from Doodlebug Design.

This was the stuck in the centre of the red stripe. The card was finished with a matching ‘bow’ of the green ribbon attached on one side a a few of the large white sequins from the ‘Whimsical Winter Asterisk Sequins’ stuck on randomly on the red background.

christmas snowman

With the coming of October comes the start of the Christmas card making season. This year having decided to use up all of the oddments I’ve collected over the years I decided to make each of my Christmas cards differently.
This card features a Snowman by Doodlebug (my favourite brand) from the ‘Snow Biz’ sheet of cardstock stickers.
A square white card had a scattering of ‘Whimsical Winter Asterisk Sequins’ stuck onto it. A length of ‘Whimsical Winter Accent Satin’ ribbon was stuck 1/5th of the way up the card and the snowman stuck in the corner.
The card was finished with a ‘Seasons Greetings’ peel off sticker from ‘Anita’s’.

An afterthought was the snowman’s scarf could have been coloured with iridescent glitter glue.
